What is Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) Aesthetics?
BBL surgery is a popular aesthetic procedure that involves fat transfer to help create more fullness in the hip area.
Brazilian Butt is a special fat transfer procedure that increases the size and shape of the hips without a hip replacement (silicone). With liposuction, excess fat is removed from the hips, abdomen, waist or thighs, and then some of this fat is injected into the butts.
Brazilian butt (BBL) surgery or Brazilian hip aesthetic surgery can improve the proportions of the entire lower body, remove fat from the “problematic areas” of the person and make the hip more prominent, while providing proportional integrity in disproportionate and excess areas.

Who is Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL Surgery) Performed?
The shape and proportion of a person’s hips are largely determined by their genetic makeup; Both your skeletal structure and your body’s fat storage affect the appearance of the lower body. A healthy diet and exercise can work to maintain a healthy body weight and tighten muscles, but many peoples are dissatisfied with their flat hips despite a healthy lifestyle.
BBL surgery can help overcome genetic factors by reshaping the hip and surrounding areas such as the hips, waist and thighs.

What are the Benefits of BBL surgery (Brazilian Butt Lift)?
- It improves the curves of your lower body.
- It adds fullness to your hips, reduces fat in your hips, hips or abdomen and shapes the body.
- It helps the clothes to fit the body in a more attractive way.
- For those with flat hips, the hips gain projection, giving a younger, aesthetically pleasing shape.
- It helps to restore the balance between your upper and lower body.

Who is Eligible for Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery?
Brazilian butt surgery (butt lift) can be a very good option to improve the shape and size of the buttocks. Some people are more suitable for Brazilian hip aesthetics.
In general, people with the following characteristics are probably good candidates for Brazilian butt lift:
- If you want a prosthesis-free (Implant-free) hip augmentation operation,
- If there is no excessive sagging in the hips,
- If there is enough fat in other body areas for butt fat ejection.
Those who get butt fat injections should be able to avoid sitting directly on your hips for several weeks.
Despite its name, Brazilian Butt Lift BBL, contrary to its name, is not a traditional “lift” procedure. In other words, if there is sagging skin on the hip, there is no intervention about it. If you have sagging skin on the buttocks or legs, thigh and butt lift surgery may be a more suitable option.

BBL Surgery and Silicone Hip Replacement Differences
A major advantage of Brazilian hip surgery is that it enlarges the size of the hip without an implant (silicone hip replacement). Brazilian Buttock (BBL) Surgery is a very natural-looking operation with obvious results.
However, if the person is very thin, the fat to be removed from the body is not enough and the only way to achieve the increase in size you desire may be a silicone hip replacement. Silicone Buttock Prostheses may be a good option for some peoples; however, it is important to understand the additional risks of having implants (hip replacements), including capsular contracture and a higher risk of infection. Hip implants can look less natural compared to expert Brazilian Buttock (BBL) Surgery.

How to Make Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL Surgery)?
Brazilian hip aesthetic or Brazilian Buttock surgery includes three basic steps:
1- The first step in Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery is liposuction to remove fat from the hips, waist, thighs, abdomen and/or other regions. For this purpose, fat removal with Vaser Liposuction is preferred. Vaser Liposuction is a method that works with the principle of minimal damage to the fat tissue and maximum respect, and it allows to collect the fat from the body with sound waves without damaging it and transfer it to the needed areas. Therefore, the survival rate of the fat taken and given to the hip is very high.
2- Extracted oils are purified and prepared for transfer.
3- The plastic surgeon performs “buttock fat injection” to certain areas in order to enlarge the butt, increase the volume and give the desired shape to the butt.
Not all of the given fat will remain in the given area, but some of it will melt. For this reason, many surgeons inject a little more fat than it should be, taking into account the share of this melting.
Note: Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery is performed under general anesthesia.

Postoperative Care After BBL Surgery
Recovery after Brazilian butt lift surgery requires some special precautions. Post-Brazil butt surgery pain is typically minimal and easily controlled with painkillers. You are not allowed to sit or lie down directly on your hips for about 2 weeks after Brazilian buttock surgery, it is recommended to lie face down.
After Brazilian hip aesthetics (BBL), you will need to lie face down or on your side, and stand for all activities except using the toilet. When you’re ready, it will allow you to sit in a modified position, using a “bagel” style seat or placing a pillow under your thighs to avoid pressure on the hips. After Brazilian hip lift (BBL), normal sitting activity is usually allowed after 8 weeks.
In accordance with the instructions of your plastic surgeon, you can resume light daily activities within 1 week after surgery and return to work within 10 to 14 days.
